Celeste Goodhue

Celeste brings over twenty-five years of retained search experience to Vital Search Partners. She excels at executing cross-functional, VP and C-level assignments. She enjoys building executive teams for high-growth companies funded by leading venture capital and private equity firms. Her life sciences experience includes medical devices, diagnostics, contract research organizations, healthcare services and digital health.  

Within the technology sector,  Celeste has deep experience in the SaaS segment and across a wide variety of applications including AI, data and analytics, gaming/simulation, eCommerce, consumer technology and ad tech. Celeste combines her rich experiences in the life sciences and technology sectors with a deep understanding of the disruptive impact technology is having on these ecosystems.

Celeste spent ten years with Ross & Company, a boutique-executive search firm focused on partnering with leading PE and VC firms to recruit C-level executives. Clients included a variety of companies in the healthcare ecosystem including health information technology (HIT) providers, data analytics vendors, business process outsourcing and consulting companies, and healthcare services organizations.

Celeste gained start-up experience as one of six partners who built the retained executive search firm, Ramsey Beirne Associates, (currently Kindred Partners). She played a key role in creating the operational infrastructure for scaling the company.  The Firm competed against established global leaders and was awarded executive-level searches for marquis clients including eBay, Amazon, Netscape, and others. Celeste led multiple C- level searches across all functions and teamed with founding partner, David Beirne to work with Bill Gates on the Microsoft Chief Operating Officer search.

Celeste was classically trained starting her career in executive search as a consultant with Heidrick & Struggles in the Boston and Greenwich, CT offices. She developed a broad understanding of multiple industries, ultimately focusing on consumer packaged goods and technology searches.

Celeste and her husband enjoy living in Central Massachusetts where they have raised 3 boys.  She has a love of the outdoors and can be found skiing, mountain biking, hiking with her dog, and digging in her gardens.  She plays tennis competitively throughout the greater Boston area.
